Customers participating in the Audi Experience take delivery at the company’s headquarters in Ingolstadt, Germany. The program includes all models as of publication time except the R8. Discounts off vehicle MSRPs range from about 3 to 5 percent.

The most popular model for program participants is the Q7 SUV, Audi says.

Audi RS 4
Customers pay for their own flights to Germany, says Patrick Hepsen, a company spokesman. Audi provides transportation from Munich Airport and a free night in one of three four-star hotels near the company headquarters. The package includes guided factory and museum visits, and free means and non-alcoholic beverages.

The company offers special familiarization and performance training programs for RS 4 owners at that model’s factory in Neckarsulm. During the two-day program, owners stay in Bad Wimpfen, at the Golden Tulip Hotel am Rosengarten; breakfast and dinner are included. Participation fee starts at 490 euros per person, which is not included in the European delivery program price.

There are 20 authorized locations throughout Europe where owners may drop off their vehicle to be shipped overseas. Six of the 20 are in Germany and the others are in Switzerland, Belgium, England, France, Holland, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. There is no difference in cost among the locations.
