Porsche's European delivery program gives people the option of visiting the Weissach racetrack just outside of Stuttgart.

Porsche's European Delivery option, though not as prevalent an option as that of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volvo or Saab, continues to be a force in the European Delivery market. Porsche makes it easy for its customers with its succinct tour options. Twice a year, Porsche does a Grand Tour option for the same price (see below) as its regular European Delivery deal.  This tour includes a VIP Factory Tour, lunch and a cocktail reception and a rare visit to the Porsche's Weissach test track near Stuttgart.

The perk of these tours is that other European Delivery Porsche owners will be at the factory with you. The downside, though, is there is no date flexibility for your pick-up.

Program Details
Car Discount: To be negotiated between you and your local dealer.
Cost of Trip: For the Boxter or the Cayenne V6, the cost is $1,150. For the 911 or Cayenne S, the cost is $2,250. For the 911 Turbo or Cayenne Turbo, the cost is $4,075.
Tour Options and Pricing: Plan your own vacation, or choose from four preplanned tours, which are included in the vehicle purchase price.
The Grand Tours include a cocktail reception and welcome dinner; a trip to the Porsche museum; a VIP Factory Tour; lunch at the factory dining hall, Kasino; a chance to visit the famous Porsche Weissach test track; and a farewell dinner.
All preplanned Tours are complimentary.
- Fall Grand Tour 2005: Oct. 13-14
- Spring Grand Tour 2006: May 12-13
- Fall Grand Tour 2006: Sept. 21-22
The innagural Cayenne Tour will take place in Leipzig, Germany, where the Cayenne is built. This Tour will include test rides and off-road tests.
- Cayenne Fall Grand Tour 2005: Sept. 14-15
Eligibility: 18+ for Grand Tour.
Perks: Farewell Dinner at Porsche Factory.
Pickup: Stuttgart.
Drop-Off: 18 locations throughout Europe.
