The 10 Best and Worst Cars For City Driving

by BENGT HALVORSON, Associated Press
Cadillac Escalade ESV

Turning Radius: 21.7 feet
Length: 221.4 inches
Width: 79.5 inches
City Snags: Plus-sized, and very difficult to park

The Escalade may have become an icon of the urban-music set, but don’t let that fool you into believing that this car is all that. Although the Escalade has suspension that can take on the roughest terrains of city potholes, it’s not a particularly easy vehicle to navigate through the narrow roads — let alone park on them.  You’d have a tough time finding parking outside of those trendy nightclubs, especially if you're talking about the extended-wheelbase ESV model. You can probably get by perfectly fine with the standard Escalade or something considerably less massive.
