The 10 Best and Worst Cars For City Driving

Lincoln Navigator

Turning Radius: 19.4 feet
Length: 207.5 inches
Width: 82.2 inches
City Snags: Especially wide and difficult to maneuver

Here’s another luxurious, comfortable full-size SUV that’s also just a little too big for the city. The Navigator might appear at first to be a manageable size — that is if it’s parked in a big sprawling lot in the suburbs.  It’s reasonably easy to get in and out of but try to wedge it into your average urban parking-garage space, or maneuver around a stalled car, or merge in with tight traffic. The Navigator’s extra few inches of width might help the interior feel especially roomy but this car is more prone to swipes and scratches from aggressive city cars.
