The Escalade may still hold rank as an icon of the urban-music set, but don’t let that fool you into believing that this car is all that. The big Cadillac SUV has been redesigned for 2007, and the extra-long ESV model is still just as cumbersome for city driving as before. Although the Escalade has suspension that can take on the roughest terrains of city potholes, it’s not a particularly easy vehicle to navigate through narrow roads — let alone park on them. You’d have a tough time finding parking outside of those trendy nightclubs, especially

if you're talking about the extended-wheelbase ESV model. If you’re attracted to that tall Cadillac truck grille, you can get by much more easily in the city with the standard Escalade or something considerably less massive.
