Since 2001, stock market investor Warren Buffett has been content driving a Lincoln Town Car Signature Series. However, on September 12, Buffet’s 2001 Lincoln Town Car went on the eBay auction block to raise money for Girls Inc. Perhaps his first impulsive buy ever, while watching GM CEO Rick Wagoner on CBS’ Face the Nation, Buffett decided that it was time to trade in his Lincoln for a GM product. Hence, he sent his daughter to the local Cadillac dealer to buy (in cash, of course) a 2006 Cadillac DTS. For Buffett, the DTS is an ideal senior-citizen vehicle with cushy bench seats and a digital clock with numbers the size of an alarm clock. Buffett prefers a cushy ride, which he will no doubt receive from this Cadillac, just as he did from his Lincoln.
