The Chevrolet Avalanche is one vehicle that definitely stands out in a crowd. One minute it’s an open-cargo bed truck, and with the flip of a switch, it’s a fully-enclosed SUV. Available options include an integrated audio/navigation system with touch-screen controls and a chrome package with high-end trim. Other options include satellite radio and rear DVD entertainment. If that’s not enough to make thieves drool, add heated front bucket seats and leather upholstery, and you’ve got a vehicle that’s sure to get their attention.

As such, the Chevrolet Avalanche ranked sixth on our list of most commonly stolen luxury vehicles. To deter theft, the vehicle’s standard features include OnStar assistance with one year of service, a theft-deterrent system and rear privacy glass.
