The Corvette is known for its sporty styling and performance power. With a 6.0-liter V8 engine, it’s definitely a car that gets noticed. Unfortunately, it seems to catch the attention of quite a few thieves in the process.  

In 2005, Chevrolet implemented two new features: keyless access and keyless ignition, both designed to make it more difficult to steal this vehicle. In addition, all Corvettes now come with a factory theft-deterrent system as part of the standard package. Oddly enough, the Corvette Coupe is stolen more often than its convertible counterpart, which received an HLDI rating of 296. And they say convertibles are stolen more often than coupes — not in this case.
