The sporty Acura TL comes with either a five-speed Sequential SportShift automatic or a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission with limited-slip differential. An optional A-Spec sport suspension provides more of a high-performance feel. The TL has high-intensity discharge headlights for both high and low beams — providing more even light distribution — along with all the safety equipment that would be expected in a luxury sport sedan, including electronic stability control, side and side-curtain airbags as well as a sophisticated occupant detection system.
