The only SUV to make our list, Honda’s Pilot shares some components with the also highly rated Odyssey minivan. Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) is available to aid with fuel economy. Despite its rather traditional SUV profile, the Pilot has very car-like handling, seating for eight with seatbelt pretensioners for all positions and standard three-row side-curtain airbags. A new rearview camera system comes with the available navigation system.
