According to its website, Dodge’s Mega Cab version features the largest interior available on a pickup, but apparently Dodge doesn’t consider the International CXT a pickup. For maximum towing capability, the Ram 3500 comes with a 5.9-liter turbo diesel supplied by engine-maker Cummins, which manufacturers related parts for large commercial trucks. Dodge boasts that its “Cummins 600” produces 600 pound-feet of torque, a measure of its pulling power. The engine can also go 350,000 miles before it needs a major overhaul. That’s a lot of trips to the lake with Rover.
