You won't be able to buy one until the start of 2007, but with five-ton towing, the next-generation Tundra promises to place you in the big leagues of pickups. Introduced in 1999 and called full-size by Toyota, Tundra once shaded toward the small side. The Tundra is now larger and more powerful than its predecessors. To pull trailers more capably, it includes such upgraded features as heavy-duty front disc brakes with four-piston calipers and large, vented rotors, high-capacity cooling and electrical systems as well as a chassis made from 30 percent higher strength steel.
