Called a SUT (sport utility truck) the EXT open-backed version of the Caddy’s popular Escalade does its heavy lifting outside, while maintaining Cadillac’s standard of automotive luxury inside. The 2007 model is re-engineered with a new body, new interior and a new powertrain. The five-passenger, all-wheel-drive EXT can be purchased with touch-screen navigation, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system with an eight-inch flip-down screen as well as a Bose sound system with an in-dash six-disc changer, MP3 playback and digital signal processing that enhances audio imaging and spectral response.
