Should You Buy This Car?

If you're shopping in this category already, we really can't see why you wouldn't at least consider the RX330. It's so impressive on so many levels, it's arguably the best luxury crossover ever made. Then again, some buyers in this category need at least the option of a third-row seat, and for that you need to look at the Volvo or the Acura MDX. Also, do check out the Pacifica, which isn't as much to our liking but has the distinct advantage of sitting a little lower, which is great in case you intend to use a luggage, ski or bike rack often.

Then again, if you want to spend less money, the crossover range is just starting to fill up with excellent offerings such as the $28,200 Nissan Murano and the new $30,990 BMW X3. Interior space on both of those vehicles is darn close to that of the RX330, but prices start much lower. For that matter, the $27,100 Honda Pilot isn't a bad call, either. Sure, then you're missing out on that beautiful Lexus light show -- which, for some, is certainly worth the premium.
