Is the XC90 for You?

Buy this Vehicle if You need seating for up to seven and a flexible cargo hold; fuel economy isn't a concern; you want an SUV that rides more like a car than a truck.
Keep Looking if Fuel economy is a concern; a wagon or sedan would suit your needs; you need to drive over rough terrain and/or tow really big loads.
Who Fits? Four adults in the first two rows and two kids in the third row will find the XC90 a generous fit, with a fifth occupant able to squeeze into the second row for shorter jaunts. Shorter motorists will appreciate the lower-than-average ride height when getting in and out, although adjustable brake and accelerator pedals are not yet offered.
Options Worth Splurging on Convenience Package ($1,295), which includes rear-park assist, power-retractable rearview mirrors, a cargo cover and net and power child locks; Climate Package ($675), which includes headlamp wipers and heated seats; for 2.5T models, integrated child second-row booster seat ($200 on its own; also comes with the $2,100 Versatility Package).
