The midsize S-Type is smaller and less expensive than the full-size Jaguar XJ sedan. It receives favorable reviews, especially for its eye-catching design and interior comfort, but it's been around too long in its present form, and sales have been caught in a downward spiral. It will be replaced in early 2008 by an all new model, the sleek coupe-like Jaguar XF sedan.
