Vehicle Summary: 2006 GMC Yukon

The all-new 2007 Yukon rides on a stronger and stiffer chassis that affords added sophistication, comfort and performance. It remains available with either rear- or all-wheel drive and comes powered by a choice of robust V8 engines. The 320-hp 5.3-liter V8 now features Active Fuel Management technology that shuts down half the cylinders when not needed to help boost fuel economy. A four-speed automatic gearbox remains standard. A slightly lower center of gravity as well as revised steering and suspension systems combine to improve handling while maintaining a smooth ride. Exterior styling is handsome but unremarkable, though the interior is much improved.
