2007 BMW X5

2007 BMW X5 Model Overview

Vehicle Summary: 2007 BMW X5

The all-new BMW X5 SUV is longer and wider than the vehicle it replaces. Newly available options include a third row of seats and a rear DVD entertainment system for the kiddies. It remains a sportier alternative to most large, truck-based SUVs. Performance for the BMW X5 ranges from adequate to exhilarating, depending on the model and the corresponding engine. A V6 engine is standard in the base BMW 3.0si model. The X5 4.8i model gets a V8. Both are mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. BMW's "intelligent" xDrive all-wheel-drive system is standard, along with a long list of chassis control, safety and convenience features.
