Vehicle Summary: 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe

Available in rear- and four-wheel-drive versions, the full-size Chevrolet Tahoe SUV gets completely redesigned for 2007. It rides on a stronger and stiffer chassis that affords added sophistication, comfort and performance. It offers a choice of robust V8 engines; the 320-hp 5.3-liter V8 now comes with Active Fuel Management technology that shuts down half of the cylinders to boost fuel economy. A four-speed automatic gearbox remains standard. A slightly lower center of gravity and revised steering and suspension systems combine to improve handling while maintaining a smooth ride. The new interior is a notable improvement, though its exterior styling is only a slight evolution.
