Vehicle Summary: 2007 Ford Mustang Coupe

The Ford Mustang Coupe is one of the few remaining all-American muscle cars. It borrows styling cues from the 1967 original. The Mustang continues with only minor updates for 2007. A 4.0-liter V6 engine powers the base coupe, while a 4.6-liter V8 engine makes the Ford Mustang GT Coupe a tire-smoking speed demon. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, and a five-speed automatic is optional. A new, high-performance Shelby GT500 version debuts for 2007 and is reviewed separately.
