2007 Honda Ridgeline

2007 Honda Ridgeline Model Overview

Vehicle Summary: 2007 Honda Ridgeline

Introduced last year and continuing for 2007 with only minor updates, Honda's first pickup truck is for people who don't like pickups. It rides on a reinforced unibody frame for a smoother ride and better handling than that of most pickups and includes a number of innovative features like a locking in-bed trunk and two-way tailgate. A 3.5-liter V6 affords ample acceleration and drives all four wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. However, those who hit the most rugged trails or haul/tow the heaviest loads should look elsewhere.

A Kinder, Gentler Pickup

Honda's midsize pickup rides like a car and has clever storage features. Though plenty tough, it's not as rough and ready as some American pickups.

  • Thoughtful storage features
  • A lower ride height and wide-opening doors afford easy entry and exit.

Lows

  • Pricey
  • Backseat could be more cushioned
  • Poor fuel economy even with a V6 engine
