Vehicle Summary: 2007
Jaguar X-Type Sedan
The Jaguar X-Type has a posh overall look, an attractive level of standard equipment, all-wheel drive and great brand cachet. However, the compact sedan never has lived down the fact that it shares some of its DNA with more-pedestrian Ford models. Saddled with a poor reputation for reliability, the X-Type is probably a lame duck that might not survive past the end of the present model generation, around 2009.
