Vehicle Summary: 2007
Jaguar XJ8
The large XJ8 is overdue for a redesign but remains a classy and pleasing luxury sedan. Made largely of aluminum, it?s lighter than most of its competitors. The car looks attractive and expensive, but it may appear dated next to more modern designs. It comes in standard and long-wheelbase versions and offers a 300-hp 4.2-liter V8 engine or an upgraded supercharged version that generates 400 hp, both of which drive the rear wheels. A six-speed automatic is the only available transmission. A sophisticated active suspension system delivers entertaining handling and a smooth ride.

Cozy Cat
With its classic styling and straightforward controls, the Jaguar XJ8 is dressy, yet it fits like a well-worn leather jacket with a softer leather interior, among other updates for 2007.
