Like the Ford Expedition on which it's based, Lincoln's full-size Navigator SUV is redesigned for 2007 and adds an extended-length model, the Navigator L, for the first time. While it rides on a new chassis with a revised suspension, steering and braking systems, power continues to come from the prior model's 300-hp V8 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. It offers a choice of rear- or four-wheel drive and a maximum tow rating of up to 9,100 pounds.
The car that drives itself has arrived. Forbes.com tests the height of sophistication: the new S-Class.
