Mazda's rotary-powered sport coupe continues for 2007 with minor updates. It remains the only car for sale in the U.S. with a rotary engine, which eschews traditional pistons for a totally different construct. It makes 232 hp when paired with the standard six-speed manual transmission and 212 hp with the automatic. It's fun to drive and fast, though not particularly fuel efficient, despite its small engine and overall size. Small rear doors make the backseat easily accessible.
