With an all-new generation due in the U.S. market in fall 2007, the compact Mercedes-Benz C-Class line continues with only nominal changes. It comes powered by a choice of three six-cylinder engines. The C230 is powered by a 2.5-liter engine; the C280 by a 3.0-liter engine; and the C350 by a 3.5-liter powerplant. Pending the arrival of the all-new C-Class, the top C55 AMG is discontinued. Mercedes typically adds AMG variants as much as a year after an all-new model launches. Mercedes earlier dropped two-door hatchback and station wagon variants of the C-Class for the U.S. market.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class continues fairly unchanged for 2007, with an all-new generation slated for the 2008 model year.
