Vehicle Summary: 2007
Mercedes-Benz R-Class
The stylish R-Class is a cross between a wagon and an SUV, which Mercedes-Benz calls a "sports tourer." Two new variants debut for 2007: a fuel-efficient, diesel-powered R320 CDI and a high-performance R63 AMG that packs a 507-hp V8. Both the V6-powered R350 and V8-equipped R500 carry over with few changes. All-wheel drive and seating for six in three rows are standard on every model. The R-Class rides more like a car rather than a lumbering SUV. It's well equipped with an array of comfort and convenience options available.
