The Subaru Outback Sedan is a more rugged-looking rendition of the automaker's Legacy Sedan. It gets SUV-like styling cues and a slightly higher ride height than the rest of the Legacy lineup, to give the car a more outdoorsy appearance. The 2.5i Limited model includes a peppy, 2.5-liter "boxer" four-cylinder engine that generates adequate acceleration, while the top 3.0R L.L. Bean Edition Sedan packs a smoother, 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that nets about 40 percent more muscle. All Subarus come standard with a sophisticated, full-time all-wheel-drive system.
