2008 BMW 1 Series Convertible

2008 BMW 1 Series Convertible Model Overview

Vehicle Summary: 2008 BMW 1 Series Convertible

BMW's 1 Series Convertible offers most of the entertaining driving dynamics of the 3 Series Convertible, but in a smaller package at a lower price. Powertrains are carried over from the 3 Series. The 128i comes powered by a strong six-cylinder engine making 230 horsepower, while the 135i packs a twin-turbocharged version that kicks out 300 hp. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, with a six-speed automatic optionally available. While it comes with fewer amenities than its larger cousin, the 1 Series Convertible covers all the basics and offers plenty options, including BMW's vilified iDrive media control system.
