Vehicle Summary: 2008 Ford Mustang Coupe
The Ford Mustang Coupe is one of the few remaining all-American muscle cars. It takes styling cues from the original 1967 Mustang. A 4.0-liter V6 engine powers the base coupe; a 4.6-liter V8 engine makes the Ford Mustang GT Coupe a tire-smoking speed demon. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, and a five-speed automatic is optional. A limited-production Shelby GT model offers more power and handling upgrades, along with aerodynamic add-ons for the exterior. After the success of its 2007 Shelby GT Coupe, Ford has decided to sell a limited run of convertibles for 2008.
