The Infiniti QX56 is a mammoth truck-based SUV adorned with a wide range of luxury trappings. It is based on the Nissan Armada, and performs similarly, but coddles passengers more with its upscale features and softer ride. The only powertrain is a V8 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. Both rear- and four-wheel drive are available. Vehicle Dynamic Control and an Active Brake Limited-Slip system are standard. The QX is equally capable at hauling people and gear, and can tow significant loads.
