The Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet convertible, from Germany's premier performance-car specialist, remains fresh and contemporary while staying true to its roots as a well-rounded, rear-engined sports car. The 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, with a bigger six-cylinder engine, shaves about half a second off the zero to 60 mph dash. A six-speed manual transmission is standard. A five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with manual-shift capability is optional.
