Vehicle Summary: 2008 Volvo S60

The midsize Volvo S60 sedan is a smaller and livelier alternative to the automaker's flagship S80. It remains a capable and moderately comfortable alternative to Japanese and German luxury imports. A 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo engine is standard on the base 2.5T model; a more powerful turbo five-cylinder is included with the sportier T5. A five-speed Geartronic automatic transmission with manual-shift capability is the only available gearbox. All-wheel drive is optional on the 2.5T for added foul-weather traction.
